Maison Design+Build is currently seeking an enthusiastic Office Coordinator to join their talented team. The Office Coordinator spends the majority of their time assisting the design and project management teams and helping with the day to day operations of the office. This is a temporary, part-time, position based in our Saskatoon office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the phone system and voice mail - Answer calls and general questions from potential clients, trades and suppliers

• Answer the door, greet clients, and accept deliveries

• Set up and manage file management systems

• Collate, and maintain the construction specification binder system

• Input information into BuilderTrend and assist the construction team on:

  • site conditions
  • to-do lists
  • entering trade information
  • purchase order and variance purchase order creation
  • phone calls to suppliers and trades
  • site inspections and field logs
  • printing and laminating of drawings

• Assist Interior Designer with design specifications, ordering, and templates

• Logistics and coordination for the following:

  • Kitchen and coffee supplies
  • Office supplies
  • Site Supplies
  • Misc. items ie. office furniture, marketing materials, etc
  • Returning items for the Design team and coordinating samples

• Host clients by providing appetizing refreshments

• Assist with meeting setup and takedown (lunch orders, pickups, etc.)

• Assist with job posting creation and posting to job sites

• Prepare turnover documentation

• Building permit and temporary utility applications and appointments

• Schedule building inspections

• General errands to support day to day operations

• Documentation and procedure updates

• Filing

• Anything else deemed required to deliver a high quality product to the customer!

Hours of Work:

• Approximately 24 - 32 hours per week

• Flexible hours

• Normal workday hours M-F between 9:00AM - 3:15PM; two paid 15 minute coffee breaks and 1/2 hr unpaid lunch break


• $16 - $24/hour based on experience

Skills and Qualifications:

• Certificate or Diploma in Administration

• Proficiency in MicroSoft Office Suite

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English

• Self motivated and able to work independently without supervision

• Able to balance multiple competing priorities

• Proven attention to detail

Required license or certification:

• Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 drivers license
